Over 200 scientists, developers, and engineers from 80 companies and institutions met in San Jose, California, for the April 2006 Gelato ICE: ItaniumŪ Conference & Expo. Attendees addressed current high-performance computing issues and collaborative solutions specific to Linux on the Intel Itanium architecture. Over a 3-day period, attendees were treated to 65+ technical presentations by some of the top research and industry users of Linux on the Itanium-based platform.
