Touring Singapore
There are several websites that provide travel information for Singapore. Uniquely Singapore is one of the most comprehensive and is available in several languages. Other sites in English include Lonely Planet and iExplore.com.
Currency
Other than the Singapore Dollar (S$), US and Australian Dollars, Yen, and British Pound are also accepted in most major shopping centers and big departmental stores.

Electricity
Singapore voltage is 220-240 volts AC, 50 cycles per second. The power plugs used in Singapore are of the three-pin, square-shaped type (Type G). See World Standards for Electricity for more information.
On request, most hotels will provide transformers to visitors with electrical appliances of a different voltage, such as 110-120 volts, 60 cycles per second.
Vaccinations
Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate
For entry into Singapore, a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate is required from travelers (over one year of age) who, within the preceding six days have been in or have passed through any country endemic for yellow fever. The International Certificate of Vaccination for yellow fever is considered valid 10 days after vaccination. The certificate is for a period of 10 years.
Countries endemic for yellow fever are: Angola Guinea-Bissau, Argentina Guyana, Benin Kenya, Bolivia Liberia, Brazil Mali, Burkina Faso Mauritania, Burundi Niger, Cameroon Nigeria, Cape Verde Panama, Central African Republic Paraguay, Chad Peru Columbia Rwanda, Congo Sao Tome & Principe, Cote d'Ivorie Senegal, and Democratic Rep of Congo Sierra Leone.
